WELCOME TO THE ROTARY CLUB OF ORANGE

Founded in 1968, the Orange Rotary Club of Connecticut is a volunteer organization of business and professional women and men who want to make a positive difference in the community. We are a hands-on club, helping those in need in Orange, across the greater New Haven region and around the world. Our passionate members are dedicated to the Rotary motto, ‘Service Above Self.’

We annually provide more than $50,000 to area charities and organizations thanks to our fundraisers. The money we raise goes to food pantries and veterans groups, youth programs, literacy programs, senior care and scholarships.

Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving celebration with a healthy and fun family-friendly tradition!

The 12th Annual Orange Rotary Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see you there. Thursday, November 28th. The 5K RUN begins at 8:00 AM FUN WALK starts at 8:05 AM at the High Plains Fair Grounds in Orange.

Shred Day & Recycling Event

Join Us Saturday, October 26th from 9AM - Noon @ High Plains Community Center - 525 Orange Center Rd, Orange, CT 06477

Organized by the Orange Recycling Committee in partnership with the Orange Rotary, this event offers residents a convenient and responsible way to dispose of various household items (i.e. Paper Shredding Plus Mattress, Electronics, Prescription Drug, Food, Clothing and Household Items Collection) while promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness. In addition, to show support for the community, residents may bring non-perishable food items for donation to local food pantries.

We have regular Thursday meetings. We meet three times per month. Once for  breakfast, once for lunch and once a month for a happy hour social to provide flexibility for our busy members to participate!

WHAT WE DO

Service Above Self

Rotary International is the world’s oldest service club. Its members form a global network of business and professional leaders who volunteer their time and talents to serve their communities and the world. Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” exemplifies the spirit of the organization. There are more than 1.2 million Rotarians in more than 32,000 clubs located in over 170 countries around the world.

Our Rotary Club of Orange, Connecticut was founded in 1968.

Club members enjoy great speakers, fellowship, and professional networking. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month for breakfast at 8:30 am at Chips Family Restaurant in Orange, CT. The 3rd Thursday we meet for an evening social (location varies) and the 4th Thursday of each month for Lunch at 12:15 at the Case Memorial Library in Orange, CT.
